Since 1981 the Consorzio di Tutela Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP has been engaged in supporting and making Mozzarella di Bufala Campana known throughout Italy and the rest of the world.

Since 2014, all those involved in the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP production chain must record how much of the product has been produced, transferred and transformed. In order to do this, we use a dedicated IT platform that provides guarantees to breeders, manufacturers and the end consumer. The Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP traceability system is both safe and transparent. Nothing is left to chance.
On 27 July, 2012, we unanimously approved the Code of Conduct for the Consorzio di Tutela della Mozzarella di Bufala Campana in a very special place, in Castelvolturno. From this general meeting onwards, the Code of Conduct remains a fundamental cornerstone for the Consorzio di Tutela della Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP.
